Curated Experiences for Prestige Venues

We specialise in things that are... specialised.

Bespoke is our favourite way to work - we want you to have the right tools to achieve everything on your wish-list, and a few things you hadn't dare dream of too.

One size fits all usually doesn't fit anyone particularly well.

A three act structure is fine, but not all the time.

If everybody looked the same and thought the same, life would be terribly boring.

We like to make sure what you're offering your audiences is always a delightful fit, because that's the first step towards meeting and exceeding their expectations.

Sometimes there's an almost-perfect solution available and it just needs a tiny tweak, other times the best way is to start with a blank canvas. Our team of experts have been here before and we will accompany you on the journey.

Life becomes simple when you have a team with the skills to help you know exactly where you are, to decide exactly where you want to get to, and to help you get there. We give you the vital strategic clarity that shows you all the opportunities ahead of you, and the best path to reach them.

Sophie Lloyd did something miraculous in 1991 - she and her accomplice Jenny Winstanley fooled The Magic Circle. To celebrate her amazing contribution to the artform, we created a surprise show to welcome her. This photograph shows from left-to-right the performers Fay Presto, Romany, Laura London, Neil Kelso, Sophie Lloyd, Guy Hollingworth and Harry The Piano. Photograph taken by Brendan Rodriguez at The Magic Circle.

We put the audience at the centre of everything we do ...

... so that they... and you...

...can shine.

"These Trees are Made of Blood" at Southwark Playhouse required spectacular illusions in an immersive cabaret space including the disappearance of a member of the audience in the centre of the room whilst surrounded on all sides by audience members, as well as other complex creative solutions to tell this harrowing but vital story.

Any art or entertainment which hasn't thought carefully about how it can sustainably reach audiences, is likely to fall short of its potential. Conversely, any business, no matter how robust, is unlikely to stand out in the modern world without an excellently crafted story... told well... every time.

That's why we specialise in bringing together Show and Business.

"These Trees are Made of Blood" required cabaret artistes to integrate and uplift the storytelling delivering a multi-faceted actor-musician show. It was critically acclaimed and transferred from Southwark Playhouse to The Arcola Theatre to further rave reviews.

Some entertainment, or art, can run and run for decades, centuries, or longer because its message is timeless.

Other creations are ephemeral because their raison d'être has been accomplished in a much shorter moment.

Whether you are creating a legacy production that can run and run, or whether instead you are planning a one-off event for one special occasion, make sure the people that you create it with can be long-term collaborators.

We believe in long-term sustainable partnerships, which is why all of our business comes from repeat custom or word-of-mouth recommendations.

Neil Kelso and associates are also all actively working as mentors to emerging or established artists as well as businesses. We care about paying it forwards. All the things we have learned and helping others to find win-win positions where all stakeholders are benefitting from every step of the process is a gift we want to give to you. When productions are made in that spirit, they have success, pleasure, sustainability, and continuous improvement automatically baked-in.

Neil Kelso is a resident artist at The Roses of Elagabalus, London's premier queer clubhouse and cabaret venue, and has created several bespoke high-end salon-style cabarets reminiscent of the fin-de-siecle evenings at Le Chat Noir, inspired by his time living in Paris' 9th Arondissement in the early 2000s. Neil Kelso has used this platform to provided a springboard platform for several other emerging or established queer creatives including the international best-selling poet Nikita Gill, the cabaret artists Loren Del'Arco and Dosa Cat, and in the spirit of the venue where photography and filming is strictly forbidden, instead of a poster for "Dinner and a show with Neil Kelso", a still-life photograph was commissioned by Kenneth Lamm, and shows several of the props that have travelled around the world with Neil Kelso.

We care deeply about inclusivity, accessibility, and diversity. Any creative process that lacks input from any sector of the human population is automatically worse for it, so we work hard to ensure theres no tokenism in casting, and that work is created by diverse interesting collaborative interactions. Great art is so much more than the paint on the canvas or the camera angles, its about what happens when the work is shared with all different people.

We've helped festivals and prestige brands to broaden their appeal without diluting their identity, and in fact by learning how to introduce their world to people who haven't visited before, they have found new love for their work and opportunities have multiplied.

"These Trees are Made of Blood" transferred to The Arcola Theatre in Dalston, where its run continued to critical acclaim. New illusions, new writing, new direction new arrangements, and new staging were all added to elevate the performance into the new multi-level venue.
